The Historical Antarctic Sealing Industry Conference 2016: history, archaeology, heritage, site and artefact conservation, biodynamics and geopolitics

This multidisciplinary conference will provide a forum for academics and heritage specialists to communicate and develop their research and expertise concerning the historical Antarctic sealing industry.Registration is now open for the conference which will be held at the Scott Polar Research Institute on the 19th and 20th of September 2016. The Scott Polar Research Institute’s research facilities will be offering conference attendees a special welcome the week before the conference. This will include orientation tours, research time and opportunities to meet local experts. Please indicate, when you register, your special interests.
