Erik Marín is a psychologist who teaches methodology in the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana, Santiago de Chile. He received his DEA on Sociology in September 2012 from Universidad de Granada, Spain. His DEA thesis “Exploratory study of scientific investigation in the Chilean Antartic Continent”, describes the field of Antarctic scientific production from a sociology of science point view. He is interested in the Antarctic and the sociology of science.
