Elizabeth Leane is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Tasmania, where she holds a research fellowship split between the School of Humanities and the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies. She specializes in representations of Antarctica, and has curated an extensive bibliography of Antarctic fiction. She is currently co-chair of the SCAR Humanities and Social Sciences Expert Group.
